Piezometer
Piezometers are equipment used to determine the static water pressure in the groundwater, and the pore pressure in soil, rocks, foundations and concrete structures. The procedure consists of inserting a transparent tube in the place where the pressure needs to be measured, and from the height marked on the piezometric column, its internal pressure is obtained. It is widely used in soil and concrete dams and in the monitoring of slopes and embankments.
